Jimmy
Lamourt was an all region region pitcher
his junior and senior year of high
school for the North Cobb Christian
School Eagles. His senior year at
NCCS Jimmy received all state honors as
well. Serving as co-captain and
ace of the pitching staff Jimmy Lamourt
lead the Eagles of North Cobb Christian
School to their second ever state
championship in 2006. For his
leadership on the team and dominance on
the mound he was named the 2006 Coaches
award by the Eagle coaching staff.
Jimmy was a 3.5 GPA through high school
and is maintaining well above a 3.0 GPA
at Andrew College where he signed a
baseball scholarship . Andrew
College is a program that has consistently
improved the last couple years since
Head coach Scot Hemmings has taken over.
Jimmy Lamourt is a big part of the plan
to keep progressing and projects to be a
big contributor for Andrew College
immediately. "I don't know if
I have ever seen a player improve and
mature as much over a short period of
time as Jimmy Lamourt and if he keeps up
this pace during his time at Andrew
Junior College Jimmy will be a Division
I talent in two years," Coach Chris
Stafford.
